Make Money With Horses You’ll never get rich by working hard.
The story about working hard being the way to get everything you ever dreamed about is a scam. The story is told and retold by those for whom you work; it’s their way of keeping you working.
Work hard and you’ll get poor, tired and older faster.
Why? Because there is only so much work you can do.
There’s 24 hours in everyday and you get the same 24 as everyone else. You can only lift, or load, or build, or clear, or stack so much. You can get machinery and tools to help you do it faster…but there’s still only so much you can do. You’ll run out of time and strength…you’ll need to stop to replenish.
Is the solution in getting paid more for what you do?
No. Let’s say you’re getting paid $500 an hour for your work. (Rich people are making $5,000 or $50,000 or more, much more an hour.) At the $500 an hour rate you’ll get a couple of hours of work in, and then your employer will find someone who’ll do the same lifting, clearing and stacking for $5 an hour.
You don’t believe it? Look around at all the nice jobs unions demanded and got higher wages for doing—who is doing the work now? You bet, someone in a foreign country making $5 an hour.
No matter how hard you work or how much you get paid for working, the costs of living are going to take it all and more. (Not to mention taxes…there aren’t any loop-holes for hard work.)
Working hard can’t make you rich; I guarantee it!
Now working hard for someone else is a good deal if you want health insurance benefits, a pension plan, a regular schedule (like 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. five days per week). If you want “sick leave†and short, but paid vacations, then there is something to be said for working hard at a job. Some people even make six figure-plus incomes. But it’s not enough; it’s never enough and you’ll hear them complain more than praise their situation.
And they don’t get rich.
Most of the time they get “downsized†or take a “buy out†for early retirement….they get poor! And if you think the pension plan is going to take care of them…think again. Suppose the company puts away $2,000 per year for you for 20 years…that adds up to $40,000…try living rich on that plus your Social Security check of $800 per month.
Only two things can make your rich…thinking and pure dumb luck, and I’ll guarantee that!
You might not have to do a thing if you’re lucky, but you’ll have to do plenty if you’re going to get rich thinking.
Thinking takes time. To be successful, you’ll spend a lot of hours thinking; you’ll think everyday, most of the day. You’ll think on holidays and weekends and when you could be watching television or having dinner with friends or being a fanatic at the big game. You’ll think almost every minute of your 24 hours each day.
Thinking might make you tired and thinking can’t stop (but it certainly slows) the aging process; but it will absolutely, positively make your rich.
After you start thinking, you’ll start doing something you love and then you’ll get rich in two ways. You’ll make a lot of money, and you’ll be even richer in lifestyle.
So let’s start by thinking about what you love doing most with horses…that’s the first step to riches, and it leads naturally to the second step.
