The 33rd annual Canadian Finals Rodeo came to a close this afternoon in Edmonton as a new batch of Canadian champions were crowned in front of a capacity crowd in Edmonton, Alta. When it was all said and done every single event champion was a first-time winner. (more…)

48th Annual Wrangler National Finals elects Miss Rodeo America

Ashley Andrews of North Dakota was named Miss Rodeo America 2007 in ceremonies held earlier today at the Orleans Hotel and Casino. Andrews, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease earlier this year, is the first North Dakotan to be selected for the honor just the second in the history of the Miss Rodeo America Pageant, which dates back to 1956. Andrews, who hails from Mandan, is a senior at the University of North Dakota and is a financial manager for a North Dakota political group. (more…)
